I'm a sewer and one day I'd love to be able to make dresses for myself from sewing patterns that are my
own creation. I love designer dresses but can't always afford them; so I decided to create something that
will allow me to generate patterns for dresses in designer styles that I love. A designer that I currently
love is Nensi Dojaka.
I've been messing around with Stable Diffusion and textual inversion in order to train a model on
this style and generate new dresses. Although it definitely needs some work, I got it going.
An example of a some real Nensi Dojaka styles:
And my model's generations:
I obviously have some work to do but right now I'm just having fun with the process.
I'm currently focusing on finding a model that is better than Stable Diffusion at specifically
generating hyper-realistic photo images of humans and then training that.
(currently messing around with this one).
Once that's done then I want to plug these images into a neural radiance field in order to create a 360°
rendering of the image so that I can eventually create a sewing pattern of the outfit. Ideally, it would
also be able to take an input image of a person and create a design on that body.
So there are definitely some steps that need to be taken in order to reach this goal but I believe I'm
making great progress so far.
