This section is basically gonna be word vomit and stuff I would have put in my about section if I didn't think it would bore everyone to death. So I guess this page is more of like a journal for me but you can peek if you want lolol.

About the site

On the name

The name "faru" is the trancation of my middle name, Faruqui. Faruqui is my mother's maiden name. In some places you may see my name written as "Nishat Khan", and in others as "Nishat Brahimi". Khan is my maiden name and Brahimi is my married name.

On the aethetic

As you might be able to tell, I love pink. I also wanted to create a site that is similar in design to early y2k internet era, because it's very nostalgic for me.

I grew up during the early 2000s and I spent a lot of time on websites like BarbieGirl.com, NeoPets, Habbo Hotel and Coffee Break Arcade. I wanted to integrate some elements of that type of web design into this site.

Either that or I'm too lazy to flush out something more fancy. Maybe a bit of both.☺

Some of my hobbies are: sewing, drawing, painting, crocheting, knitting, henna, playing piano and I also dabble in some side developement projects here and there. Check out this one!
